The time has come... the final week of Titus Lunter's environment design class is now over and here is the result of the last assignment. It has been a great experience and i feel that i have learned so much during this last month. I would whole-heartedly recommend his class to anyone interested in environment design or even just concept art in general, I have taken a few online classes over the last few years however the teaching, help and advice from Titus is unparalleled.
Now... to finish uni. Upwards and onwards!
The story behind the images:
Earth has ran out of water – it's all polluted and / or undrinkable. We've found another planet that has vast amounts of water however due to the two suns so close to the planet the waster is constantly evaporating – floating into the atmosphere and becoming vaporized. Caves and other sheltered areas collect the water forming up-side-down lakes. These areas are wet and contain most of the life, the rest of the planet is dry, hot and inhospitable for long periods of time.
