Greybox Paintover Process by JackEavesArt Greybox Paintover Process by JackEavesArt
I apologise for not creating a tutorial last month as i'd hoped. I hope that this helps for the moment though i have some tutorials started and will try to get them done asap.

This is the process for my latest artwork:

Nice one, tip though! If you hit the tilde key in unreal, it'll bring up the console, type ''showhud'' and hit enter, that'll get rid of the weapon bars and minimap for ya ;)

I have to wonder why you set the game mode to deathmatch if you were just going to paint over the HUD ^^;

This is quite lovely, and a clever technique.  I'll have to keep this in mind next time I'm planning out a space!

To be honest the screenshot was handed to me by a team member who manages the UDK side of the project, but it really wasn't a hassle as it was purely just a guide. But it would have been handy without the HUD of course :)

But thank you! It is quite handy depending on the situation. :)
